Essays may be submitted by any students or alumni of the University of Notre Dame, Saint Mary’s College, or Holy Cross College. The inner will be featured in NDRTL’s newsletter, Footprints, and on the NDRTL website*. Essays of honorable mention may also be featured. Essays should be between 500 and 800 words (1-3 pages), although essays of greater or less length will be considered. It is recommended, though not required, to cite official Church documents. Essays may take any form of the author’s choosing, although they should be interesting and understandable to the general Notre Dame community. The essay is to respond to the specified topic, as stated above.
